Salutations!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet Sparkle; this is a personal site used to blog, show off my art/ocs, and talk about my interests in general!

I want to give this website 100%, so it can be a space to showcase my love for everything in my life! This will also be used as a distraction from everyday life,,, and it may get a bit silly at times (the future shrines will have me geeking out but wtv! wtv!). Have fun exploring and feel free to interact with all the different elements!

Angel's Corner is used as an escape from the everyday stresses of social media, but I have linked my insta and red note at the top because I am not able to acess this site 24/7! In case anyone needs to reach me and/or would like to check out my art posts, then it is availabe.

Other than that, I will be trying to be more and more involved in being online here and on my Toyhouse ( which is still in the beta stages of development... it's bad lol ). For my Neo cities, though, I will be discussing my personal life a bit more! Including:

  • Creating Shrines of my interests
  • Blogging monthly on random topics + Personal experiences
  • Reccomending medias and music
  • Providing links to resources I read often

Updates will be inconsistent as my will to accomplish things fluxtuates drastically from week to week; I will be providing a To Do List somewhere below...it'll clear up my struggles

Lastly, this website is mostly a template I found while browsing other sites, but I have spent countless hours searching, creating, and coding my own elements to plug in. With that being said Please Do Not Hotkey this website! I will eventually have links to some elements/blinkies/etc, but it only takes a second to message and ask me how I did something here! I will be more than happy to provide answers, but stealing is not the way!

Feel free to message me on any of the sites provided (here, insta, etc). I am 99% sure the layout is phone safe... fingers crossed!

Thank you so much for checking out my website! I hope you enjoy

Angel's Bio - About Me

Howdy Howdy! My name is D'Angelis, webmaster of Angel's Corner!

I was born and raised in the U.S. (sadly), but I currently am on track to moving countries in 2 years via a Student Visa! I made this website to track my journey and growth through out my future,,,and to slowly peel away from the everyday hustle of new age media. I'm a music enthusiast, writer, artist, gamer, journaling editor, and an amateur animator. I have a ton of hobbies with web designing/ html being a newer one!

When I say new, I am referencing to my interest it. I was forced to take HTML classes back in 2021-2022...but it was certainly not a fun time (blaming the teacher for that one lol). But I'm back at it with a bunch of new skills.

Where the Red Fern Grows:

“After the last shovel of dirt was patted in place, I sat down and let my mind drift back through the years. I thought of the old K. C. Baking Powder can, and the first time I saw my pups in the box at the depot. I thought of the fifty dollars, the nickels and dimes, and the fishermen and blackberry patches.
I looked at his grave and, with tears in my eyes, I voiced these words: "You were worth it, old friend, and a thousand times over.”
― Wilson Rawls

Every year starting when I was 8 years old till I was around 12, I would read the old story about two dogs' loyaly towards their owner. I don't know why I stopped or forgot to do it when it was my usual time to pick up the book again, but every year since I have continuously forgotten about my old tradition. I recently moved my room around in preperation for university next fall (cleaning, packing, throwing away items). In the midst of cleaning off my bookshelf, I found that book again. The pages were yellowed with age, but I wiped off the dust and shortly after I began to read it.

For some reason, and I remember this now after finishing it, I always became so consumed by the narrative that I would forget the dogs' fates. It would always hit me once I finished the book. The thing is: I'm not a dog person what-so-ever. I have had my fair share of childhood dogs, yet they always ended up being taken care of by my parents. It's also not a perfect book by any means: there's constant occurences of using the wrong terminology for native americans, it is extremely dated in more ways than one. For some reason though, this book pulls at my heart in such a specific way that I keep coming back to it. I think there's one redeeming quality that may forever stay with me; Where The Red Fern Grows was the first book to make me cry.
